How much room is left in your tax bracket? Your bracket is a floor on a ladder. Your income fills it. The room is what is left before the next floor.

What this tool does and does not do

What this shows

The bracket your taxable income sits in, the room left before the next line, the rate on each dollar inside it, and the years like this before required withdrawals start.

What it does not do

It never says how much to convert or what the tax would be, leaves out state tax and credits, and saves nothing you enter. It runs on the federal tables for tax year 2026.

These figures restate what you entered. They are not a projection, a recommendation, or a plan. A hypothetical illustration does not reflect the experience of any actual client. Nothing you enter is saved.
